O Departamento Nacional de Infraestrutura de Transportes (DNIT) alerta aos condutores de veículos leves, especialmente motocicletas e carros de passeio, e de caminhões do tipo baú que evitem trafegar pelas rodovias federais do Rio Grande do Sul. A recomendação é para o período entre às 15 horas desta terça-feira (17) até as 23h59 de quarta-feira (18) – seguindo orientações de horário da Defesa Civil do Estado. Neste período, conforme projeções meteorológicas, a incidência de ventos fortes de até 110 km/h e chuva – devido ao ciclone extratropical que atinge o Estado – será maior, oferecendo risco de tombamento de veículos na pista.
